If no general daily schedule is given, ask the responsible office before setting out.
Build a realistic time plan
For Trier Main Cemetery, separate the visiting hours above from the administration hours: access to the grounds does not itself mean that an office appointment is available. Before a grave search, assemble the person’s name and dates plus any known section, row and grave number. Then match the intended entrance with the address and directions page.
The cemetery map offers 19 named orientation points for Trier Main Cemetery. Use them to estimate where the destination sits relative to the entrance, and contact City of Trier – cemetery administration if the visit depends on access at a particular time or on reaching a specific section.
